quiet good for computers and accessories

Quiet, but other than that I don't notice any further improvements. Octoprint sometimes adds pimples and bumps to my prints. I think it's the USB port and the data transfer speed. I was hoping this would solve this problem, but it doesn't. No worse than the stock market. Silence helps me relax when I'm sitting next to the printer. Using an old whiteboard was giving me a headache after hours of working on my nearby computer.

Pros
  • So far I like everything
Cons
  • Periodicity

The best board at the best price and quiet

Installed this beast on my Creality CR10S just a drop for a replacement but now I have a dual extrusion option and the bsord is generally quiet. Not a single sound from stepper drivers or motors. I love quiet and I can type faster because they have no vibration.

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Crumpled

Works with Ender 5 Plus and is SILENT!

I've been using the Stock Ender 5 Plus in my office for a couple of weeks and I've had enough. My wife and I started hearing stepper motors in the living room, bedroom and kitchen and we both thought we were going crazy. I mentioned this 'silent' board to my wife and she said I had to get it ASAP! Very easy to install (just in case, make sure you photograph EVERYTHING before disassembling the original circuit board). WIFE STOPPED THREATENING TO LEAVE ME. I also give it 5 stars for "Warmth"…

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • Repair

Works on Ender 5 Plus!

yes it works on Ender 5 plus! Yes, it also has a preinstalled bootloader. In this case, you don't need an Arduino to flash the Creality firmware onto it. This one costs more but is available much quicker as Creality is out of stock. There are a few good YouTube videos on how to make a silent 2.2 board and update the firmware. Summary: 1. Install the board. 2. Install Creality Slicer on your computer. Ender 5 plus is not listed, just select Ender 5, it doesn't matter, only for firmware update…

Pros
  • also understandable for the old ones
Cons
  • infinitely sluggish

Install in my CRX (not Pro).

As it says in the description, when installing in CRX, the board must be flashed under CRX. Don't forget the Touchscreen file (Flash) either. I don't have BL touch installed, I like old school pumping. I didn't get the 5 fin version of the driver but there were 5 voltage regulators on the board and I didn't have to adjust the voltage rating for the motors. Calm? Oh yeah! Now my PSU fans and the motherboard fan (drain) need to be replaced. All in all it's a version 2.2 board and now my CRX has…

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Some little things

Excellent board (with some lubrication of the elbow)

I bought this board to replace a faulty 2.0 board with a faulty capacitor that was causing temperature fluctuations. Above all. You cannot use this board in the original Creality CR-10S right away. The firmware is for SOVOL printers and will not work properly. I ended up downloading the unified TH3D firmware kit and compiling my own hex code (I wanted to smooth the mesh layer and adjust the thermal runaway time). Luckily, the TH3D download comes with everything you need. I was able to compile…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Band

Broke after 3 months of use. And the returns window is closed

I had a bad print after about 15 minutes. So I stopped printing. After restarting the print, the temperature was not displayed correctly and I assumed the thermistor was defective or stripped. Good after replacing the thermistor and ceramic heating element. Same results. The temp was from 255 to 26 at the nozzle and around 115 in the layer. Even with the power off it didn't work. So I put the stock board back in and found that the board had failed. The board works great. Lost $50. Not a happy…

Pros
  • Brilliantly done
Cons
  • Long delivery
