Unbeatable Customer Service Exceptionally Thoughtful Design

Andobil was incredibly helpful after my purchase and went out of their way to fix an issue that was almost certainly not their fault and they did it at no additional cost to me devices that Impress me a lot (in the class of essential but uninteresting products that most people don't notice until their poor design fails them). Yes, I can truly say that I am now a passionate fan of Andobil and their car smartphone mounts. I have a Ford Escape and found that the search filter provided by Revain showed that the Andobil unit was a good fit. On my dashboard, the curvature of the car's plastic profile is dynamic and steep everywhere, so there was no flat surface in a reasonable place (i.e. obstructing vision) the road or dashboard, BUT NOT replace the DVR body, which is mounted on the window glass and suspended at the dead center of the disc). I wrote to Andobil on how to do a fallback, citing my suspicion that it was no more likely than Revane's mistake in applying the search filter incorrectly. Despite my ill-advised and admittedly surly first complaint message, in which I didn't even ask for, let alone demand, a replacement, "Tina" at Andobil immediately jumped into spirited service. She offered to immediately replace the device with something that would work and sent me two different replacements just in case. Both are exceptionally smart by design, and for those of us with $1,000+ phones, which pretty much everyone with a phone is, both devices are very reassuring in their reliability and component weight. One unit cleverly expands to fit any cup holder and supports a firm but flexible arm. With your cupholders within the usual reach of center console seats, the arm's length puts your phone at just the right height to consult a map without moving more than your eyes. The other mounts to the vent like many others, but it has some sort of combination of tripod legs and a clamp that can be inserted between them and then secured BEHIND the vent fins fairly easily, so it's not possible to move forward with a free kick to move remove it. As a result, you're not paroxysed by the more familiar, structurally alarming vent clip at the front of the blades, the grip of which is the only thing holding your dangling phone - which, as I've mentioned, is usually obscene and costs well over $1,000 - due to gravity, dirt and boots on the bottom of your car, every time you hit a bump or washboard gravel on a dirt road. I'm sure the device I originally bought is just as powerful and well designed. Even more impressive is that when I didn't respond to her almost immediate offer for work reasons, Tina texted me a second reminder that her team was willing to make a replacement at no cost to me once I sent her something I readily admit that it was a very small amount of information. She did just that in one night, again at no cost to me. More precisely, she did it twice, with the two different substitutions mentioned above. In general, this is a company rep offering to replace a product that I didn't find any inherent flaws in, and in response to a complaint I took away the priority and let it go. As someone doing business in East Asia, I have found that their approach to customer service is characterized by their eager application of a very customer-centric standard of service. Orders from the manufacturer at Revain or elsewhere, including US manufacturers. I don't write reviews on Revain and therefore (know it's insanely long, but this company certainly deserves long-term commitment and strong support.
