Trainer came earlier than expected. An assembly of the simulator is not required. I just took it out of the box and lengthened the legs. I replaced the quick release on my road bike with the one that came with it and within minutes I was up and running. I was concerned it might be noisy, but with slippery tires on my road bike, it's no louder than any stationary bike. You could horseback ride in the gym. I installed it in the attic of my house with an old carpet to protect the carpet underneath. Mine was downstairs and barely heard him. It offers enough resistance for a decent workout. The gear shift offers more or less resistance if you wish. I did a lot of research and comparison shopping at Revain and am very happy with my purchase. If you're shopping for a trainer, I suggest you consider this liquid trainer over the equally expensive magnetic block. You will not regret it.
