Great On Small Dogs Too!

My wife works at home and we have a very yappy Min-Pin, he literally barks at everything, sounds, sight of cars, people, animals, cats. you get my point, hes very vocal. So we bought this because it has three different uses, Beeping mode, vibration mode, and a shock mode. I tried the shock mode on myself and it reminded me of electrocuting myself as a kid sticking something into a 110 outlet. I also tried the vibration mode on myself and it worked well. As for our Min-Pin we have never needed the vibration mode or the shock mode. he responded very well to the beep mode. So how this works is, you have a remote, pet has on the collar, with both units on, when the dog barks you press a button and you get the desired mode to respond. With us it a series of like three beeps, and my dog instantly does not like the beep, and makes stops barking. he is so well behaved now. He knows when the collar goes on, hes trained not to bark. he figured it out on his own. Collar on he behaves, we seldom have to use it now when its on him. we also don't leave this on him all the time. My wife primarily just puts it on him during her business hours when shes on the phone. I highly recommend this collar. The collar is also cut to fit your pet. My min pin is around 7 to 8 pounds, and we trimmed it to fit perfect.

Pros
  • Simple and Beautiful Design - The sleek and modern remote for this collar has a velvety matte finish that feels incredible to the touch. The simple design is straight-forward with no excessive buttons or settings. A large display with clear symbols makes it easy to see the selected mode and switch between training modes and correction strength as needed.
Cons
  • The range of 1000 feet may not be sufficient for dogs who wander far from their owner.
