Review on Immerse Yourself in Cinematic Audio with πŸŽ₯ the Logitech Z506 Surround Sound Home Theater Speaker System by Sirious Cavalli

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The sound is great after tuning, suitable for computer speakers, no "room-filling sound ".

We were pleasantly surprised by these small speakers. I use them as a 5.1 install for my computer. They sounded good right off the bat, but once I adjusted the distance, level and EQ in the sound card software, they sounded fantastic. I used a Dolby Digital test disc and a sound level meter to adjust the settings. Keep in mind that I use them at close range so any speakers are no more than 4ft from me and in my opinion this is the best way to use these speakers. I doubt the statement that they can be used in a large room unless you want to overdrive them or make them sound small and distorted. The only thing I noticed negatively are the subwoofer and the rear speakers. Below 50 Hz, the subwoofer initially drops off sharply, only to then fade away at a frequency of around 35 Hz. In a full sized sound system this would not be acceptable but remember this is just a 5 inch driver in a ported box and all in all sounds good for a small speaker. If you only watch YouTube videos. or play a game on your computer, bass shouldn't be an issue. The rear speakers have no keyholes for wall mounting, so I had to buy a pedestal for each speaker. All in all it sounds good for a small speaker. If everyone, whatever you're doing is watching a YouTube video or playing a game on your computer, bass shouldn't be an issue. The rear speakers don't have holes for wall mounting, so I had to buy a pedestal for each speaker. All in all it sounds good for a small speaker.
