Be aware there is nowhere you can cut this key except for a locksmith
I took all the circuitry out of my existing key fob and put it in this one and then took it to Home Depot to have it cut. Although it's not a "chip" key, they said they don't cut keys, which they no longer sell. Same goes for Lowe's and even my local hardware store. The locksmith wanted $50 to cut it and the dealer wanted $75 so it's still just in a drawer. But then again, the electronic parts I removed from the old key fit perfectly.
