I hesitated to buy a random fake but this is a quality wooden toy! My baby is 14 months old and likes to take out the carrots (but hasn't learned how to put them back in the puzzle yet). Instead, he likes to put carrots in the shape sorter and hear them fall to the ground. I imagine this toy will grow with him over the next year as he solves the puzzle and maybe even longer as a fun role model (like feeding carrots to a stuffed bunny etc.). Came in a nice box, I think it will be a good gift.
