Review on 🏕️ Upgraded Carefree 901015 Black RV Awning Replacement Lift Handle for Hassle-free Travel by Robert Hoge

A bit confusing as the parts come with 2 rivets and the picture shows 1. With that in mind I threw away the bones and ordered the first replacement pin which arrived very quickly and with only one rivet. The handle is designed to use only one rivet for installation. I bought this to replace the handle on a Border 95 with a carefree Spirit awning with no obvious FX or Fiesta markings. My original grip has a two small rivet design and I think the replacement grip has a better design so I drilled out two rivets and removed the broken grip. The new handle fits the rectangular hole almost perfectly and the final installation covers 2 holes of the original but. there is a difference where the locking piece enters the hole in the stowed position. When the top is open and extended there is no problem, but when folded for travel the handle does not move to the closed position. Luckily I didn't install the rivet and was busy assembling it. My options were to go back and keep looking for a handle like mine, or drill a 3/8" hole, 13/16" deeper than the hole used in the stowed and stowed positions, what's the difference between the two handles when comparing sides was .on the side.I decided to drill and install an additional hole.After drilling a new 3/16 hole to install the rivet I had to reposition the inside of the awning leg to line up the 3/8 hole with the rivet hole as there wasn't enough room for the rivet to fit snugly against the handle which is important for proper installation After installation there was no interference and it worked great The new one I liked the handle so much that I ordered a second handle to match the other side, which by the way didn't come with rivets, so I'm not happy with it, seems random or unhappy. I I will update but for now I am happy with my results for which I could. This is my unique situation.
