This is my second attempt to replace my basic HoMedic slider which has been in service for 10+ years. While I'm not keen on it, wide heads are well formed. Unfortunately, it got stuck on the lowest level after two weeks. Six feet of cable is a lot less than the 9 I used to have, which is disappointing. Unfortunately, there is currently nothing that can replace my basic homedic. Since I can still use this on the lowest settings, I get annoyed but agree because buying and returning is a pain. Thumper, which I'm interested in, has a non-return policy and I'm not interested in giving away $120. I've come to the conclusion that fancy programs and buttons can cause cheap hardware to malfunction. Electronics aside, this one seems to be more durable than the others.
