Review on Silverstone SDP09 6Gbps SATA HDD/SSD Adapter for 3.5-Inch Hot-Swap Drive Bays (Nickel) by Micheal Looney

I purchased this to use with a SandForce based SSD to boot into the Vantec EZ Swap 4 drive bay but there is an issue with the Vantec -Slot not working with AHCI, resulting in motherboard not being able to recognize the SSD. However, pulling the drive out and plugging it directly into the motherboard worked great. There is nothing wrong with this adapter, in fact I am very impressed with its packaging and build quality. I just wish I knew it wouldn't work for what I wanted to do with it. Rather than returning it, I'm replacing the Vantec tray with another product that should work properly and allow me to finally use it!
