Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Ariat Men's Cruiser Slip-On Casual Shoes for Rough terrains by Mike Hernandez

Depends on your expectations.

How much you enjoy this product really depends on what you expect from it. I had two pairs of Ariat boots and the quality of these boots for the price is unmatched by any other comparable brand. That's why I expected the same quality from an $85 pair of shoes. What I received did not meet my expectations. I needed a durable yet stylish shoe that I could wear to work every day. They were the right color and semi-formal look that went well with the khakis and polo shirts I usually wear to work, but the quality felt cheap. None of the shoes are made of high quality leather. Instead, it feels like thin suede that doesn't hold its shape. As you can see from the photos I've provided, the suede is very thin and doesn't have a shell to hold it in shape, especially on the heel of the shoe where it should be. This causes my foot to move more in the shoes than it should (even though the shoes fit). The sole of the shoe is made from a very thin piece of leather, but most of it is a foamy substance that just feels cheap in the hand. I like Ariat as a brand, but these shoes should be $30 instead of the almost $90 I bought them for.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • This makes me angry
