I have used this double seat belt 2 times in the back seat of a car for my two dogs. Worked very well the first time. The 2nd time I had some concerns. I have used it with my 20 lb dog and 13 lb dog. My little dog ended up confused. It kind of wrapped around her. Luckily I looked back during the drive and saw what had happened. I was able to stop to unravel it. The other issue is that when both of my dogs are tied to the double harness and they move around too much when tied my back seat pulls forward. I have a car with rear trunk access. This also applies to me. I think belting two dogs in at the same time is a great idea, but I think I'll consider using a seat belt for each of them on opposite sides of the back seat.
