Decent BMW scanner (7910)
I am both an owner and a certified BMW technician and was looking for a cheap scanner for home and work. Overall, my experience with the 7910 was good, but not great. Pros: Fast and accurate fault code reading compared to ISTA. Inexpensive. Simple menu layout. Cons: Difficult to update firmware (needs to use Windows 10 virtual machine for it to work) Update tool not available for Mac. It has no internal battery in case of power failure.
