Don't waste time and money.

TL;DR. Just find another way to secure the door shells. Looks like a kid cut them out with dull scissors. The edges are not clean, either the vinyl blade had to be replaced or the cut settings were wrong. Worse, there's little difference between the front and rear door seals, but there's no indication of which goes where, or even up. The door pockets on the car appear to be identical, so it's not clear why the films would be different. The supplied assembly instructions are sufficient, but very amateurish. They appear to have been photocopied by the thousands and are somewhat difficult to read. Even if you follow the directions for using a water-alcohol mixture as a styling product, the film is still too sticky for proper alignment. It's also quite difficult to remove wrinkles or bubbles as this film is less flexible than other 3M films I've used in the past. It can either be B-stock or just an old stock. I set the weather to 78F so I don't think it was a temperature issue. And no, I'm not going to put a heat gun next to the paint on my brand new Telluride. The fact that the handbook suggests this is simply a request to the courts. I've installed the front and rear passenger sides and will see how they look before trying the other side. I'll probably just take them off and throw them in the trash if they don't look MUCH better tomorrow. Oh and my car knows what the best option for these protectors is.
