WOW! Doesn't matter!

I had the 15 LED version with LED conversion which was definitely an upgrade to regular halogen but creates more glare and dazzles other drivers. But compare them, conventional or halogen, to these? HOLY Lumen Batman! I can't praise them enough! β€’ Let me start with the 180 watt claim; Remember that the wattage (as with other brands and types) is listed with 2 high beam bulbs! I only measured 188.4 watts with the engine running! My buddy installed the 110 watt kit and the difference is really noticeable. (Trucks of the same make and model) β€’ The pattern is great! The latest version has a prominent dark area in the area about 30 degrees left of center. Get close to the wall and you'll see why: the beam pattern was enhanced to better illuminate the left shoulder. The "weak" area can be seen as a notch, somewhat like a tooth dangling in the "jack-o'-lantern" opening. It's really effective not to dazzle oncoming drivers! β€’ Driving in snow and/or rain produced MUCH less glare than my halogen and even less than "other LEDs." β€’ High beam is focused into a rectangular beam that reflects off green road signs more than MILES away. The sides aren't affected much, but the "dipped beam" stays on!β€’β€’ The only drawback is that the connector lamellae are not that thick, which caused them to flicker under heavy hits. To fix this I unplugged the car connector (they open and close on most cars) and pinched the socket to get a better connection. I also added some "No-Ox" rust inhibitor as a preventive measure. (You can get a small tube for a few dollars and use it for any connection that is wet, wet, or has different types of wires (like copper and aluminum.))
