This knife is great despite being cheap. I have an expensive set of knives at home and wanted to bring one with a sheath. I keep a Pure Komachi chef's knife, a paring knife, and a smaller cutting board for when we travel and use rentals. My wife always carries a paring knife to cook dinner for the kids when they aren't home. I like the grip on this Zyliss much better. Komachi is slippery plastic, but this one is more rubbery.
