Good visual deterrent but unlikely to stop a determined thief. Wheel locks on the Club are a must or thieves could just remove the tire and even then I wouldn't rely solely on the Club 491 and lug locks to secure your trailer. Let's be honest, if the thief really wants your caravan, he will get it one way or another. There are ways to bypass almost any security device you can buy, but having some is definitely better than nothing. The Club 491, along with some jamming noses, is a good combination to deter thieves looking for easy prey, but with a little planning you can easily slice through a Club with a good grinder with a metal cutting wheel. This will of course trigger all sorts of thugs and again it will take some time better than nothing where they can just plug and play. Just make sure you have good insurance and document everything in the trailer just in case.
