I am a very experienced aquarist but due to cleaning my filters too well I once had ammonia tested at 0.25ppm in my 90 gallon goldfish aquarium. I have used this product twice. once and twice the next day my water was very cloudy and my ammonia level went up to 4 parts per million overnight! I had no idea what happened the first time but after putting Ammo Lock back in my tank last night and got exactly the same results this morning. I'm pretty sure the ammo lock was the cause of the cloudy water and ammonia spike. I'm not sure if it's a chemical reaction with the Seachem Prime I use during water changes, but I won't be using cartridges. Block more after this happened to me twice and just wanted to share this with others. I recommend only using Seachem Prime and NOT mixing it with Ammo Lock.
