#1.it is very light and the curved plastic cable prevents it from lying on the floor. I took it apart and screwed it onto a small steel plate. The problem is solved. #2. I found that a pair of my (large) three-pronged plugs, when plugged into the device, prevented the pedal from fully rotating (and functioning) in the closed position. So I took it apart again and grounded it. a small radius in the plastic where the lid made contact with the enlarged plug. Problem solved again. It only took me a few minutes to make it the way I like it. Great pedal for the price. and the electronics work great. I'm very happy with it!
