I browse LOTS of Amazon products and I'm rarely pleasantly surprised by anything (especially anything electronic). This home label printer is fun and surprisingly easy to use. It comes in a nice box. It runs on 6 AAA batteries and comes with label tape. You scan a barcode and download the Print Master app onto your smartphone (I have an iPhone and it works great). You then instruct it to connect to the printer after you turn it on (the power light is green). And then you can go. I set the task of printing labels for all our remote controls because sometimes we get confused. It was very easy to use and even allowed to insert characters into the output. The printer works instantly and silently, and the auto-cut button works great. You will get a label that you peel off the black side of the printer and the label is underneath. A really nice touch is that the label tape on the back peels off the center of the tape, which is infinitely easier than trying to peel it off the corner. It's a small thing, but she made this work like a dream. In 10 minutes all the remotes are done and I'm ready for what's next. It even saves your shortcuts in case you want to use them again. It worked so well that I checked all the remotes in the bedroom. I'm really very impressed. I've gone through several label manufacturers to find one that works well. This is an absolute must buy! Pro tip: When I first turned it on and tried to connect it via Bluetooth, I got an error message saying the P12 couldn't connect. However, as soon as I downloaded the Print Master app and clicked the connect button, it recognized the printer and connected immediately.
