Microsoft has partnered with Intel and AMD to force users to upgrade to Windows 10. This motherboard does not support downgrades. They have a hack to boot Windows 7 but the hack doesn't work. One problem is drivers. Motherboards no longer automatically load USB and DVD drivers. So, when booting Win7, it fails due to lack of USB support or lack of DVD support. I also found problems with GPT and MVR disk formats. Win 10 required MVR and Win 7 required GPT, which is exactly the opposite of what you would expect. After assembling, the video does not work properly and the HDMI sound is not connected. I reinstalled the drivers for both. Did not help. Looking for help, I see that many others are having similar problems, not just me. I spent 3 LONG days installing Win 7! You may wonder why Win7 and not Win10. In my opinion, Win10 is the most dangerous operating system ever created in terms of privacy. I am not alone in this matter. Every year MS takes away more and more privacy. I haven't tested this either, but I believe it applies to Linux as well. They also provide a hack to install it. So MS not only forces us to upgrade, but also to abandon alternatives. Does it look like a monopoly?
