What great reviews? I was out of town when my order arrived and left the package at the laundry almost forgotten. Then I threw my old filters in the trash (where they were covered in gravy) before looking at the new ones. Otherwise I would have pulled my old ones out of the garbage and sent them back. The filter that came with my Navigator LA Pro was very thick foam rubber. You can easily squeeze this foam between your fingers while the original filter was much harder to squeeze. The cells on this foam are at least 5 times larger than the tiny cells on my original. This allows more dust to pass through the foam filter and get into the felt and my more expensive HEPA filter faster. I don't know if this is a genuine Shark filter replacement or not, but it's definitely not a quality replacement. Maybe they sent me the wrong filter model? I don't know but I don't think it will help my child's asthma. That's why I bought the vacuum cleaner in the first place.
