It took me a few times to get the freezing time right but I finally did it and the ice cream balls came out amazing! Absolutely clear. My first attempt was trial and error. I did as instructed and pulled out the tray after 24 hours to see if that was enough time and then increased the time from now on. After 24 hours there was little time. As a result, freezing lasted up to 30 hours. If this is your first time, keep in mind that when you pull the tray out of the tray body, there will be water at the bottom that is not frozen. So don't worry. it should be so. Simply pull the ice molds (tray) out of the body. The bullets are completely frozen and there is no water at the bottom of the case. Also, you'll need to do some calculations for future freezing times as you don't want to be at work or out to take them out after 30 hours as the instructions say to leave them in the freezer for more than 30 hours. . The watch can damage anything. So I make mine on Sundays at 11am so I can take it with me when I get home from work. Once I miscalculated and had to call my wife to get her out of the freezer because I wasn't home yet. $120 is too much money to waste on miscalculations. The price of this product is steep, but when you pour your drink and see a crystal clear ball of ice, it's definitely worth it. My next batch will have a lime wedge. FUN!
