Review on Sony SmartWatch 1 for US Market - Android Bluetooth USB Retail Packaging by Dustin Woodrow

Revainrating 4 out of 5

My first wearable smart device.

My Sony Smartwatch is connected to my Nexus 4 with 4.4 Kitkat, so don't worry if you're wondering if newer devices are supported and the connection is good! I have to leave the house before the connection is lost. I installed some apps on my watch, they control my music player and run some 1x1 widgets to check bitcoin and litecoin prices. It also slightly improved battery life because I don't have to take my phone out frequently to change tracks or check email, Facebook, or widgets. That's incredibly useful, especially for a phone that doesn't have great battery life like the Nexus 4. Wise Build. It can be compared to some cheaper regular watches. including the metal back) and plastic case, it felt pretty light compared to many watches I've worn. The clip on the part that connects the smartwatch to the strap seems to be the only part I'm really worried about breaking. But after wearing it for a while I'm sure the watch will last a while until I decide I want to get a newer smartwatch. won't load and I would have to open and close the music controller on the watch for it to work and when I change tracks the new track doesn't show on the watch but plays. It could be an issue with the Google Play Music app, but I'm not sure. This watch is a bit cheaper than all other smartwatches available and for what you get, it has a few features that you only get if you buy an even more expensive smartwatch.
