These covers fit so well you wouldn't even know they were covers. My toddler's unkempt little hands were really starting to ruin the fabric of our dining room chairs, so we wanted to cover them with something before they were completely destroyed, but we didn't want to be sitting on those pesky plastic covers you used to sit on at Grandma's house . in the olden days. They were somewhat easy to install. This involved unscrewing the bottom of the seat from the chair, wrapping it in a cover, and then screwing it back on. My only concern is having to unscrew the seat from the chair to wash/remove. That overtime is likely to be annoying and can wear down the screw holes on the underside of the seat.
