This tablecloth is well made from medium weight clear vinyl with rounded corners and decorative stitching along the edges. I use the large 108" on my bed to keep out possible cat pee. I noticed that after I added clear vinyl covers they left my sofa and chair alone, which gave me the idea for the bed. I used mattress pads that were leaking and also wanted to see my colorful bedding. Good decision. UPDATE: Deducting a star because the plastic has a very strong vinyl smell that doesn't mix well with food. I don't know how long it takes for the smell to dissipate Smell dissipates but I let it air outside Later: day and night outside made a big difference I was able to leave it in my bedroom overnight without the slight smell bothering me.
