I have had this Pro Duo model and also their Junior model and both have disappointed me. The younger model stopped working after a few weeks. When switched on, the screen freezes at the set temperature. With the PRO DUO model, temperature readings are slow and not very accurate. It seems to work well at typical calibration point temperatures. 32F for ice water and 212 for boiling water. In real conditions, however, temperatures vary greatly. I no longer believe that the PRO Duo gives me an accurate temperature. I've applied for a warranty claim on both but haven't received a reply (or it's gotten lost somewhere). I really think this company is doing a great job of marketing their product, although I've been burned twice by product and customer support I'm still considering trying another duo. Pros: - Magentic, sticks to fridge - Nice, long probe - Blue backlight is useful - Good build quality, easy to use Cons - Inaccurate temperature - Doesn't seem like a long-lasting product
