Not exactly for spices - big blades
I bought this item because it claims to grind spices (whole black pepper and the like). But the blades are too big and he doesn't work them. For example, they don't really cut because they are too small to hit the blades. I think the blades are too high in the container and the spices just sit on the bottom. I would say it might be good for grinding coffee. But no herbs and spices. I returned it.
