Unlike its Metra counterpart, the Scosche kit uses high quality OEM steel mounting brackets that already support your existing factory radio. Metra kits come with their own thin plastic brackets. This Scosche kit fits my wife's 2002 Camry LE very well, although the installation instructions are really sparse and lack brief details. I definitely wish I could use the rectangular bezel that came with my Alpine CDE-143BT main unit with the kit for a better setup. The American International TOYK975 kit I used in my 2003 Highlander allows for this front frame and makes the setup look neater. A can of Krylon Fusion spray paint (for plastic) should help anyone trying to find the best color match for their particular interior. My own setup could have looked a little cleaner if I had used some black caulk or epoxy putty to fill in the small noticeable gap on the left side that would have slightly obscured the faceplate. I think the American International TOYK979 dashboard kit will give a better look as it also supports using the manufacturer's bezel.
