It was a bad fit the radio was better looking WITHOUT the kit and dangling from the wires I returned it and got a Metra kit, which isn't perfect, but at least it doesn't look like a kit for another car. I'm very good with tools and I'm not afraid to hack something to make it better, but it's been so far that I haven't seen a way to redeem it.

This kit for my 2003 Camry turned out to be successful. I had installed a JVC single DIN and it was "almost" flush. Today I installed a Pioneer double DIN and the end is no longer flush. Unfortunately in my case the installation of this bag was far from easy. Since unboxing when *a* black screw popped out of the box, I've been confused as to where it goes and I've already lost another one, or was it just one? Paper instructions don't help at all. I wish it was as detailed as Ikea. It just shows the overall picture of the build and doesn't go into too much detail. I had a lot less trouble programming the steering wheel button decoder. Unlike its Metra counterpart, the Scosche kit uses high quality OEM steel mounting brackets that already support your existing factory radio. Metra kits come with their own thin plastic brackets. This Scosche kit fits my wife's 2002 Camry LE very well, although the installation instructions are really sparse and lack brief details. Looks good. If you look closely there is a small gap around the edges of the radio and trim. Also, it doesn't exactly hit the ride flush, especially on corners. It could just be the flatness of the radio. I find the trim corners curve inwards very slightly, so the top corners of the radio aren't quite flush. They are about 1-2mm outside the finish surface but not very noticeable. The fairing matched perfectly with the screw holes on the sides of the Pioneer AVH-1400NEX main unit and when I…
