Charming, good size but strong smell

I bought this lovely storage magazine to match my son's bedroom decor. The size, strength and graphics on the tank are amazing! The only downside was that we had to leave the item outside for 3 days to get rid of the VERY strong chemical smell that came with it. I'm sure it was the ink used to print the graphics, but we couldn't stand the overpowering smell. It's indoors now and he used it next to his bed to store books and small knick knacks.
