Spend a little more and avoid the fire hazard!
Update: The second one is now shorted too, which is only good if you want to start a fire. I have contacted the manufacturer for a refund but am very disappointed. They are very cheaply made, for the money you would expect a little more. When my flashlights arrived one of them discovered a short circuit which caused the cord to immediately smoke, melt and almost catch fire within 3 seconds of connecting to the battery. I was hoping they would be good but now I can't trust them.
