Very happy with the coffee maker! The brewer is very affordable and I'm glad it comes with a metal filter. The metal filter looks high quality, the holes are very small and easy to clean. The size is perfect for two full cups of coffee, one for my girlfriend and one for me. Also, the product was packaged very well so you don't have to worry about damage in transit. I've been using it for about a week and haven't noticed any problems. It seems very well made and durable. I will update my review if anything changes. All in all if you are looking for a cheaper alternative to the Chemex coffee maker I would highly recommend it. A few notes: experiment with the brewing process, adjust the ground coffee to water ratio and pour speed. It took me several tries to learn how to make the perfect cup of coffee. They also list recommended ratios on the box, but I've adjusted mine to suit my preferences. So maybe use that as a starting point and adjust accordingly - pretty easy to clean, I usually just rinse it in hot water with a little dish detergent and then every few uses I'll take the wooden sleeve off and pop it in the dishwasher - I alternate between metal and paper filters when using the brewer. Coffee filters are fine.
