To be honest I didn't expect this to work. My mother wears hearing aids and her main complaint about the TV was that she couldn't "hear" what was being said, no matter how loud it was. She used subtitles which, if you've ever tried to use them, are sketchy at best. When this product was recommended to me, I thought why not give it a try. As a Prime member, I can return it at any time. So imagine my surprise (and delight) when my mum, who is notoriously hard to please, was very happy with it, saying it worked great and that she could finally hear the TV, understand what was being said, and could enjoy watching again. I recommend this to anyone who is hard of hearing and frustrated that they can't understand TV.
