Complicated installation. I wanted the rear wheel to be used on a balance bike. Only the rear wheel spins. The cable uses a sensor attached to the seatstays. A magnet is then attached to the spoke of the rear wheel. The distance between sensor and magnet should be 2-5 mm. On my derailleur bike, the distance between the spokes and the seat stay is huge. Planet Bike support suggested a pad. It must be a big puck. I used a piece of pool noodle and a felt furniture glider. It worked! The spoke magnet and sensor are now about 5mm apart. I am using this with a Protege 5.0 computer. Now I have speed, distance and time to train.
