I'm a big fan of hydrocolloid dressings; They work wonders to blow away irritated/open blemishes and even remove pimples that haven't fully broken out yet. Medca Hearts & Stars in particular are my favorites - not just because they're cute, but because the shapes actually get a little better. personally for me. I'm prone to clusters of clogged pores and the heart allows me to get a wider area while being more flexible than a LARGE round patch in a regular box. Since the pimples usually appear on the chin, speaking/eating/drinking/etc. much easier with heart plasters than with round plasters and at the same time I manage to hide a few pimples. Stars are perfect for single spots and I think the shape offers a bit more flexibility than hard circles here too. Also of note is that the heart/star type is thinner than regular medca patches, but I find that they stick much easier AND get to work quicker (I see them suck out the pimples in about 2 hours, and if left overnight, they even manage to drain unpierced subcutaneous bumps). Definitely my favorite type of hydrocolloid. If you're using them in places where you need flexibility, be sure to deal with them and not the usual circle style.
