This grinder doesn't have any preset grind settings - you have to set the grind yourself and stop it when you think it's done (which is hard to see without pausing it and removing the lid). This is not a product for the coffee grinder newbie just trying to make coffee. I've tried grinding less (and ended up with a regular grind that didn't work) and I've been grinding for too long (ending up with coffee dust) and I'm just wasting my beans and time. I bought it because it was recommended by America's Test Kitchen (this is the last time I trust them). I'm just going to replace a cheap coffee grinder I've had for years that has served me well and determined my grind size for the number of cups needed and let me select the grind size I wanted (course, drip or espresso). I bet this is a good product, just not for those who don't know the best grind size by eye. Note: I've included photos of the label because someone asked about the voltage.
