Absolute nightmare to use

Update: I absolutely hate this coffee grinder. It's messy and painful to use. It's not exactly what I thought. I watched a lot of videos about coffee grinders and this was my second choice. I accidentally ordered it instead of the first choice. However, it's a bit messy and I don't like picking everything up to unload. It works and you just hold down the button until your beans are crushed. You'll have to play around with this to figure out how many seconds to hold. It's small and compact and…

A little, but it works great!

He works so hard for such a little guy. I use my Krups grinder to grind spices and coffee (I use a chopstick to loosen any loose particles clinging to the edges of the walls, and I also grind a piece of bread to remove odors and extra grinds). as they say, i think it's great for people like me who just make a cup of coffee in kuriga. It doesn't mix well, so sometimes you need special cups with some paper to avoid sediment. This is definitely a great blender for the price and size!

Probably better to have one for coffee and one for spice

Probably better to have one for coffee and one for spice. B/c You don't want your coffee to taste like your spices. Thorough cleaning is a bit cumbersome. Even if it does, it still smells a bit like stale coffee (or spices). But for the price it does its job very well. I have found that coarse ground coffee can be obtained by pressing the power button for 5 seconds. Medium background (my preference) for a 12 second press. And a very good powder for a 20 second print. Tip: Shake the grinder…

  • High marks for support and durability from testers

Not for a grinder newbie

This grinder doesn't have any preset grind settings - you have to set the grind yourself and stop it when you think it's done (which is hard to see without pausing it and removing the lid). This is not a product for the coffee grinder newbie just trying to make coffee. I've tried grinding less (and ended up with a regular grind that didn't work) and I've been grinding for too long (ending up with coffee dust) and I'm just wasting my beans and time. I bought it because it was recommended by…

Pros
  • fingers crossed
Cons
  • too stupid

Received the coffee grinder today and registered with the manufacturer. As a first test, I chopped up some fried glutinous rice or rice gluten (hao nyu). After sanitizing the inside of the grinder, I added 2 ounces of toasted glutinous rice to the grinder and covered it with a lid. In less than 15 seconds of pulsing the grinder I got a very good medium grind, now khao kha. Rice is pretty hard anyway, and when it's fried, most of the water it contains evaporates, leaving a very hard core…

Pros
  • Oval blade for even and consistent grinding
Cons
  • Hard to tell

WARNING SMOKE FROM SILENCE AFTER THREE NORMAL USE.

This grinder was a big disappointment. It should be a situation where you get what you pay for. The worst thing about this grinder is how awesome it can be despite this fatal flaw, it seems to overheat randomly and smoke comes out of where the power cord enters the case! The strong smell of burning electricity and smoke emanating from this coffee grinder negates all the advantages, namely: a very affordable price of less than $20. Small design that fits well in the kitchen, Quickly ground…

Pros
  • Lid activated safety switch
Cons
  • Out of style

I bought this grinder based on over 1000 reviews on Revain. The meat grinder itself is good and powerful, but there is something fundamentally wrong with the design. My opinion is based on comparing this grinder to Mr. Coffee Blade with Chamber Maid cleaning system (I've owned it for almost four years)a. Both coffee grinders are powerful enough and do the main job - grinding coffee beans - well. At Mr. Kaffee has additional settings related to the desired fineness, the size of the cup of beans…
