My wife got a 3 gallon wall mount aquarium that came with a filtration system that was more trouble than it was worth. I bought this Marina I25 filter and also bought replacement cartridges. I cleaned the tank thoroughly and installed the filter. A few hours after turning on the filter, there was a noticeable difference in the transparency of the water. I try to change 90% of the water weekly (2 goldfish). I changed the water, mistakenly thinking I could rinse the filter under the tap (failed). I clogged a week old filter so I just replaced it with a backup (about $2.50) and Shazaam! The water miraculously became crystal clear. I am impressed
