Works great, great performance.

Offline. RV, two 100 watt panels, two large marine batteries. great stuff Works with my medium sized vacuum (1100 starts, 850w continuous), wireless tool charger and most importantly my 600w 5 cup coffee maker. He doesn't even notice when I plug in my phone charger or turn on one of the 120 volt LED lights. Everything just works fine. I've noticed that there are some "general" complaints in some of the reviews, but I think these are users misunderstanding what 1200 watts is or what it can do. You probably need bigger batteries and a bigger inverter! The remote on/off switch is a great and handy addition! I installed it under the front deck so the 2/0 battery cables are less than 5 feet away so getting to the switch was a little awkward. I didn't worry about the remote switch and that's why I'm glad I ordered this device so conveniently! I use something like a vacuum cleaner, I maximize the input voltage and don't even get close to the max amps. 1200W at 10A, 120V is 100A at 12V (plus any efficiency losses), so that little 'extra' effort is really negligible to me. I connected a short heavy duty cord feeding a 20A GFCI outlet and a 30A camping cord plugged into it with an adapter. So "everything" works in the camper, but I know that I will never connect more than 10A / 120V. There is no "converter" so all 12V goes through the ATC panel with a 30A fuse. I can't speak to RE tech support because I don't have it and don't need it. I am very happy with my purchase.] EDIT [ .still great a year later. As an "experiment", I used the "dorm fridge" for six weeks last summer and it worked well as expected. The experiment was to see if only 200W panels could do this, but he also tested standard 24/7 usage. ]/to edit[
