When they arrived they looked heavy and of good quality. My husband did the installation so I can't comment on the ease of installation. Because they are so high, the water splashes everywhere, even when the water flow is set to the minimum. I bought a chrome finish which if I had to do it again WAS NOT as it always stands out given the water splashes. So, after a year of use, I recently noticed a horrible musty smell coming out of my faucet (double vanity). When I looked closer I saw a black film on the hole. That's where the smell came from (and not from the sewers). Today I soaked the faucet in bleach to try and get it mold free. After a few hours, the bleach looked like this. Shocking! This is the water I used to brush my teeth! I cleaned it well and am now soaking it in bleach again and the smell seems to have gone. I'm nervous about using the faucet again after seeing what was in it. To be clear, my husband's faucet didn't have this problem and I clean both faucets with the same bleach.
