Edge Pro Sharpener Ready

I bought these because I thought I would need to modify them for use on my Edge Pro. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that all I had to do was insert them into the sharpener. I only gave them four stars because I don't know how to handle it. However, I have invested several hundred dollars in water stones. It was part of the price. If they hold up well enough, the fact that they never need reshaping adds a lot to their value. I've just sharpened five kitchen knives and a benchmade pocket knife with them and they did a great job. To be fair, I should mention that I took the knives into my buffer and polished them with jeweler's rouge and then chrome oxide, which allowed me to make cuts (without sawing) in carbon paper. For this money I am very satisfied. with this purchase. I may add or remove a star after knowing how well they hold up, but at this point I don't have enough firsthand knowledge to describe their durability. In the meantime I would recommend them for the sharpening power of several kitchen knives and a pocket knife. NOTE: I have hundred dollar bricks. Even they need to be disassembled or disassembled before they can deliver the results they were designed for, so it can help to rub at least a few panels together to remove any roughness before using them.
