I really love these water shoes! Wore them at the beach and in the ocean. Very comfie on my feet. Nice protection from most sharp objects on the beach or ocean floor. The sole and surrounding fabric are fairly thin, so it would still be possible for a larger sharp object to penetrate through the shoe. I purchased the Starry Night shoes and the colors are vibrant and beautiful. They held up in the washing machine on a cold water delicate cycle and then air drying.
