Removing the old crankshaft oil seal from my 1991 Lincoln Mark VII LSC (5.0L HO) was 90% of the job! I had to be careful not to ruin the timing chain cover. Get a seal remover that works for you. It's worth it! I got one with a long handle as I had enough space to work. Smooth sliding of the new seal is a big key. Take your time and do it right. I had a harmonic balancer installation tool kit (got it from my local auto parts store) and used it to evenly install the gasket. I had to get creative with a block of wood and some repair boards, but it worked out great. I pushed it in steadily and with little effort after putting together a good setup that made sure it went straight in. Good product. I'm glad I did! Product at a low price with high satisfaction after I finished. I want my whole car business to be this cheap and this fun! Happy Suffering!
