If you want to get the most out of your Epson V850/V800 Perfection Scanner, I highly recommend using this wet mount platform. You can scan an entire negative (I scan 4x5, 120 and 35mm) without losing edge detail, and wet lamination helps tame curled or warped film, and liquid helps maximize film emulsion. I use 91% isopropyl alcohol and a very thin, optically clear mylar film instead of the more expensive liquid mounting oils and scan films.
