Review on 🔁 CKLau 4Kx2K@60Hz 4:4:4 DP Displayport KVM Switch 4 Port - Includes Cables, Audio, and Microphone by Greg Sullivan

Received this unit today and installed it immediately as like most I work from home and need to use my existing monitors with my work computer. My setup is HP Z820, Personal Workstation and HP Z620 Workstation. I have 3 HP monitors, 1 ZR2440w (1920*1200) 2 Z27s (3840*2160) 3 Z27s (3840*2160) Z620 connected to 1 and 2 with Windows Z820 connected to 2 and 3 with Linux Mint. This KVM switch 2 monitor and keyboard and mouse (I have wireless ms combo and 1 other logitech mouse and wired ms keyboard all work with this switch). The Z620 can display 4k 60hz but the switch can't work when I come back from the Z820, if I turn the monitor off and on it works but that defeats the purpose of V in KVM. I think I could be wrong, the monitor gets 60.4Hz and the Switch can't handle it. When I turn the monitor off and on again it shows 60Hz and displays correctly, otherwise it's blank. When I switch the card to 30Hz it switches between the two with no problem. That's why it works like "kinda". Regarding EDiD, there is a place in nvidia settings where you can select edid source and by default it uses monitor. If you extract the edid information and change the source to a file, the switch does not affect icons and windows on Windows. I couldn't find the same in Linux Nvidia settings. Although not ideal, something else at the same price, didn't have 60hz but definitely would switch if I knew I would probably get Iomega as there is a more established brand but if it didn't break very soon goes, I'll probably stay with the thing.
