I bought this HDMI transmitter and receiver to connect my laptop to my TV to teach some kids Python. They watch TV while I demonstrate Python programming on the computer. I want to give the kids more space, but I don't want them tripping over a long HDMI cable. This HDMI pair is very easy to set up: connect the set-top box (HDMI receiver) to your TV with the HDMI cable (included), the set-top box can be connected via the USB port or the DC be powered by the TV's wall adapter; On the computer side, connect the pad (HDMI transmitter) to the computer's HDMI output. No additional settings are required, no cables between TV and computer. The computer screen is then projected onto a television. The resolution is high, the image quality is good. Out of curiosity I also tried mirroring my iPhone to the TV, it's also easy and uses the phone's wifi, no HDMI transmitter required.
