Maybe too bright. I decided to use them in key areas of the motorhome. Over the sinks and over the dinette, bye. They take a little getting used to, but they work great. A little tight compared to the old ones but takes a little more effort to fit. I myself will not use them in the bedroom. I will say that if you are having trouble seeing regular Element style lightbulbs, they are bright and you should be able to see better. Ideal for tying lures or for those finer projects where you need to see clearly. Very very bright. Almost like a flash from the 60s. 😁
