First I bought this. They were not sent to me free of charge like these other reviews. To be honest these are great clippers and deserve 5 stars. My other clippers were Remington Indestructibles and I loved them so I knew they would probably make great clippers too. I took the reviews with a grain of salt as everyone got them for free and often this is a way to get honest reviews. But these things are awesome. I shaved my head every three or four days. with cutters. If it consists of hand vacuuming, cutting hair, vacuuming and then showering to rinse off so I don't get itchy all day. These clippers are great. I take her in the shower, I cut my hair real quick, all haircuts go down the drain. So much easier and faster. The blade is also very wide. Maybe 1/3 or so wider than my Remington clippers with chords. They are also slightly curved. This makes shaving the entire head very fast and quite comfortable. It is much easier. Old typewriters always made my head red and irritated. Because the blade is wider, they distribute the weight over a larger area and won't leave red marks or irritate the scalp. I don't know how else to explain it without trying it myself. If you have a shaved head, they are a must. The ONLY thing that makes them better is the adjustable hair cutting length. I don't mean plastic guards, I mean adjustable blades (do you hear Remington?) Otherwise great product. You must have her.
