So the power supplies are getting more expensive, probably because the 3080 and 3090 need more power. I look forward to getting one if they ever become available. That's 850 watts of gold. I had 650 gold for my 2080. It was just perfect. I need it for 3080 and overclocking. Don't let something as simple as a power supply shut down your system. I've used many brands like EVGA and some cheap ones. Never had a problem. It is compact and has Japanese capacitors. It is completely modular. The price is fantastic. Delivery was fast. Is this gold. What more could you want to be prepared for higher quality components. Be prepared when the new graphics cards are finally available. Update, something I came across that might help others. I tried to change this power supply from my sons to mine. I took a shortcut and tried to use the cables that were already neatly routed through my case. I was having a hard time getting my computer to boot. After I took it out and put it back in my sons it worked. So I had to use the cables that came with the power supply. All is well. I should have known as the existing cords on this PSU were a bit tight. So save time and use the included cables. I hope this helps some of you who might think you have a bad device. For your health!
